Gender and Development: It is one of key development terminology in the development field of Bangladesh. The NGOs of the country are generally using it as a cross cutting issue at the NGO level. The NGOs using the it to ensure the equal involvement of men and women and reduce all forms of discriminations. This terminology is really contributing to the development and treating men and women equally and ensuring the gender justice. As a result, it has been popularized in the development sector.
Good Governance: We understand governance as term of process we follow in decision making at NGO level and how we are taking the decisions, whether it is in participatory manner or not. Good governance mean some best practices that the NGOs follow in the development process. The process are, how much participatory the organization, whether it is transparent regarding the information, the development actors and organization are accountable to someone or not, people own the organization and program of not, whether it is following the rule of law etc.
