PROBLEM CONTEXT OF SMALL NGO
Generally, thousands of NGOs work in Bangladesh with registration from Social Welfare or Department of Women Affairs or Family Planning and in few cases from NGO Affairs Bureau. However, in cases they strive to contribute to the development with their own financial resources. Almost all the NGOs are contributing to development but they lack funding in response to the community needs. Some of the NGOs provide their services on a voluntary basis due to funding shortage. As a result, they fail to retain their skilled staff. These NGOs try to get the donors’ fund. But it has been observed that due to a lack of skills in designing and developing new project and writing quality project proposals they frequently fail to mobilize fund from the aid industry and gradually become so much disappointed that they sometimes think of closing down their operation.
