Health related Problems of mothers and new borns living in extreme remote areas

It is true that there are many parts of the country which are extremely remote. In these remote part the health facilities for the poor and extreme poor completely inadequate. The poor and extreme poor living in remote part the health care for the mothers and children in the country is really a problems. In the rural areas especially the poor mothers and children of poor households are not aware on the health issues. They still hesitate to say their problems to the male members of the family.  They do not know what to do from the pregnancy period and child care period such as pre natal and post natal care. They have no access to services. As a result the rate infant and mother mortality rate still higher than the urban areas.
The mothers do not know about measures need to be taken during the pregnancy period. Even, they do not go to the doctor in any complications. When the problems become acute and finding no alternative to save the life they generally go to the quack and most cases get maltreatment.
Further, still in rural areas the mother taking help from the unskilled midwifes for their delivery cases. This is the cause of many complications.  When problems become more acute and fail to resolve in the within the community and when the situation compel them to go to the medical and clinics only at that time they go to the hospital or clinics. They do not understand that they need to go to the medicals and clinics for check up or proper treatment from the pregnancy period.
Again, they do not know how to take care the new born babies. The immunization is essential for each of the children but due to lack of parents’ awareness, they do not take the immunization within the time frame. As a result, many of the children become the victim of many of the diseases including polio.
It is also true that in most of the extreme rural areas the service of the government and private sectors are not available. Further, the parents including the mothers are not aware about the services availability. They do not know where to go for services. Who are the service providers. They have no any linkages with the service providers.
There are some government health workers government but they are indifferent to go to the remote part of the rural areas for providing their services. So, they rural mothers and children deprived from the services.
