In discussing the reasons and causes of increasing the drop out children are various. One of the major reasons is that the parents and guardians are not aware about the importance of education of their children. Another reason is the poverty situation of the country and household members. They do not want sent the children at school as they have no ability to bear the inherent cost with the education. Though the primary education is free for all children but there exist some unforeseen cost, which the parents and guardians cannot bear. Along with that the parents and guardians do not like to send the school rather they want to involve them in income earning activities and domestic’s activities.
The girls drop out is high than the boys. The reason is that most of the parents and guardians are illiterate and they think that there is no need of girls education as they will go the husband’s residence after marriage and their education will not come in help for the family. The expenditure for education of girls will go in vain.
Again, the society are not playing any role for the education of children
Another important reason is the torture and repression to the children at teacher. In the country the teachers behavior are not education friendly. The torture on the children is also one reason. If the children fail to prepare the lesson they become the victim of torture. As the result, the children gradually become indifferent to go to the school due to fear of torture. From the teachers part there is no any effort ensures the attendance. Whereas, this should be one of the important role of all teacher.
Further, there is no pressure from the part of government. The government has plan to attain the millennium development goal that is education for all but the government did not make it compulsory for all children.
