Peopleof this Densely Populated Country live with Various problems

Bangladesh is a small country (143570 square kilometer) of approximately 160 million people living in this small country and density of the population is increasing day by day.
More than half of Bangladesh’s nearly 100 million rural people still live below the poverty line. With nearly 1000 people live per square kilometer, population density in Bangladesh is about the highest in the world. Key concerns of these people are to mitigate the basic requirements such food, shelter, education, health facilities. Non-farm activities have already assumed an important role in the rural economy. Nearly about 42 percent of total rural employment and more than half of rural household income come from the rural areas of Bangladesh(World Bank,2004).
Among the total population about half of the population are living below poverty line .Bangladesh trying to attain the millennium development goal and prepared PRSP to attain the goal within the timeframe but it is observation that it will never be possible. So, the country should revisit the PRSP and Million Development and have to make a new plan of achievement considering the timeframe.

However, due to lack of awareness the people of this country have very little access to services and facilities related to health, hygiene, water and sanitation and nutrition. As a result they are having deprived on the services available and it limiting them to keep pace with the mainstream society.
